This process involves accessing information that is already gathered from either the originator or a distributor of the primary research. Some advantages of using secondary data are the ease of access to it ,low cost to acquire information, and to help in the clarification of research question. Some disadvantages of using secondary data are the quality of research might be less, maybe obtaining out of date research that is not timely, and the information might not be specific to researcher's needs.
